The morning yesterday was slow. He was still on his morphine drip so he was really out of it.
We had a few more visitors. Uncle B-Man came by. It was fun to see him.
Dr. O came in to check him and said,"It smelled like one more day." :) One more day it is. I was kind of feeling like that would be a good idea too.
What a treat...we got a visit from Mrs. Reschke! It was fun to see her on Spring Break.
We love 1st Grade!
Daddy surprised us with a visit and some balloons.
He stayed while we went to check out the playroom.

After Daddy left we had some quiet time. Nathanael decided to try some word searches, but it lead to a good long nap!
Grandpa Puckett stopped by for a visit too! He tried to share jelly beans but Boo still didn't have an appetite. Thanks Grandpa!
We tried a late lunch of snacks. Mmmm... doesn't that look good?!! Strawberry smoothie, warm pretzel and chips. He nibbled a little. We're still working on it!
Later Emily (Sister Ricks) stopped by with a treat. She used to be his primary teacher and is now my visiting teacher and not to mention, good friend! Thanks Em!
As evening approached, it started to get a little gloomy. Trying to balance pain meds left him feeling a little low. I got him out of bed and we headed for a ride in the wheel chair. We went outside to the patio for some fresh air. He wasn't sure he even wanted to be out of bed.
It felt good to be outside.
On our way back to the room we saw some familiar faces. It was Grandma and Grandpa Taufer and Uncle Brett. It was perfect timing to have guests!
Uncle Brett got him to play a game with him and our nurse, Jordin saw a smile for the first time. She gave him a hard time(in a good way). It was good to see him being himself a little.
Thanks for the visit!!
After all the resting he was not very tired last night. We turned out the lights and put on a Disney movie, That Darn Cat. He watched the whole thing. It was late before we got to
(noon)
