After waiting in the waiting room for 3 1/2 hrs we met with Dr. O and got the news. He said it couldn't have gone better. SO many prayers were answered as he talked and reviewed the surgery. We are so grateful to have the problem resolved and be on the mend!
We met a very tired boy in the hallway. With half an eye open we got a smile and then he was back to sleep. They wheeled him down the hall on his bed, took an elevator ride and ended up in our room. Vitals were taken, a fresh warm blanket was added and now we're waiting as he continues to sleep. What a sweet little boy!
